The Urban League of Portland lost a member of its family, Rob Ingram.

Rob was not only the President of the Urban League of Portland Young Professionals for almost the last two years, he was more importantly a loving father and husband, professional, community activist, and young leader in Portland who will be sorely missed. As a member of the Urban League of Portland community, many of you have had the opportunity to see firsthand his charisma, leadership qualities and passion for community and striving towards the right things.

I have been in preliminary contact with his family and place of work, and will keep you and the Board apprised of arrangements, and ways we can help his devastated family members left behind. I have also let our colleagues at the National Urban League, and the Regional Young Professionals network, know of this tragic loss.

Thanks for your understanding and, again, I will provide updates when available. Please keep his wife Dana and his children in your thoughts and prayers.
